Hm. What is wrong with this picture? Um, the dog on my shoulder? I was minding my own business, playing a friendly game of poker, and who should appear? My worthless mutt. We kept removing her from the poker table but she just has to be in the middle of the action. She jumped on my chair and climbed up the back of my blanket like a mountain goat. She sits on my shoulder a lot. Very weird.

This is Burt. Burt has proclivity for laying in weird places and in positions we would consider very uncomfortable. Does this look comfy to anyone else? I didn't think so.

We were tricked!

We rescued Burt from our local Wayside Waifs. I PROMISE he was not so worthless at the shelter. He tried to impress us at every turn. He was on hest best behavior at all times. Very affectionate and attentive and showed us what a great dog he was. And then we got him home.
This was taken on his first day home! He wasted no time pulling the bait and switch. All he does is lay on things he shouldn't and flop over for belly rubs.

A favorite spot

The most worthless ones, and I know you have seen them, are the ones that are permanently attached to their person at all times. Much like this one. If yours resembles this one at all, it will pitter-patter after you like a baby chick. It will want to be scooped up and loved on whether you stop to open the fridge or sit down to go pee. There it is, peering up at you with expectant doe eyes, seeming to say,"Pick me up and love me, even though I just spent the last 10 hours in bed with you laying on your belly. Please?"

Dogs + Cars = Worthless

Play draw your attention to the poodle on the right. Notice how she looks kind of, um, pink? That's because SHE IS. This was taken is San Diego. The dog is pink. This would have been pathetic enough just watching the 2 of them laying around on a convertible on a busy street. Pink takes it to a whole new level and we, as viewers, applaud the pink.
